After Effects Script - Layer to CC Composite
Using 3D models within After Effects is awesome. However, adding effects to multiple 3D model layers can be repetitive. But, with just one click, the "Layer to CC Composite" script can prepare your 3D model layer for effects. To use the script, you must select your 3D model layer, run the script, and let "Layer to CC Composite" create a new layer directly above the selected layer. It copies the layer label color, copies the layer name, and adds the prefix "CC Copy" to it. Finally, it applies the CC Composite effect and references the 3D model.
The PLUS version creates a new solid with CC Composite applied for each selected layer. Users also have the option to consolidate all selected layers into one solid or as individual layers. In consolidation mode, the 3D model layers are added to the solid using CC Composite according to the position z value.
